DBE donates 5 million Birr to Macedonia, Home for the Elderly and Mentally Disabled

As Part of its Corporate Social Responsibility, Development Bank of Ethiopia donated 5 Million Birr to Mekedonia Home for the Elderly and Mentally Disabled.  Management Members and Staff  of DBE visited the Center on December 9, 2018 located around Ayat Condominium site, in Addis Ababa and had a lunch with around 2000 beneficiaries of the center.

During the visit president of the Bank, Ato Haileyesus Bekele made a remark denoting that the Bank involves in social responsibility to support the disadvantaged section of the society in general and Macedonia rehabilitation center in particular. DBE responds promptly to the Prime Minister Dr. Abiy Ahmed’s call up on all Ethiopians to extend supporting hands to the needy after visiting the center last Month he added. On handing over ceremony of the donation, the President acknowledges the effort and commitment of the founder and staff of the Home as well.  

The president, in his remark reaffirmed that the Bank will continue its support to the center by coordinating its employees and customers.
