DBE Management Meets Ugandan Delegate  

Development Bank of Ethiopia’s (DBE) management members met with Ugandan delegates on November 09, 2018 here at the Head Office, who came to benchmark the Bank’s overall development activities being carried out in the Country.

Following the welcoming speech delivered by President of the Bank, Ato Haileyesus Bekele, brief presentation about the Bank was made for the delegates who are Chairperson and Strategy Director of Ugandan Development Bank, Mr. Felix Arthur and Mr. Allan Joshua, respectively.

The presentation was made by the Strategy, Change and Communication Directorate and External Fund and Credit Management Directorate regarding mandates, mission, values, strategic issues, structure, credit operation, area of lending and financial cooperation with international financers, among others.  

To have a broader know-how of the Bank, the delegates have raised questions and suggestions with regard to the overall activities, after the presentation have got over.

Finally, the delegate expressed their gratitude for the significant information gained, and adding, the Bank is very big in role and doing utmost efforts to contribute share for the Country’s development.
